  • Systems Consulting:
  • o        Established a VAR/ISV business offering custom computer needs analysis, implementation and complete integration services in addition to product marketing development.

    o        Configured systems for real-time manufacturing processes and data acquisition applications.

    o        Developed complete business plans, promotional campaigns and budgets for clients.

    o        Produced collateral materials to support sales and marketing efforts.

    o        Trained staff in various areas: systems, sales and product knowledge.

  • Regional Marketing Manager:
  • o        Directed territory marketing and account penetration strategies for CAE IC design software products to semiconductor manufacturer’s design centers.

    o        Conducted product benchmarks, design wins resulting in significant increases in market share.

    o        Knowledgeable in ASIC, Gate-Arrays and traditional component manufacturing technologies.

  • Manufacturers Representative:
  • o        Managed over 20 product lines for leading global companies in the systems, components and data acquisition products for the Rocky Mountain Region.

    o        Developed the OEM customer base by negotiating annual contracts and designing-in products.

    o        Successfully managed distribution with product promotions and just-in-time inventory sharing.

    o        Trained direct and distribution sales force on all product lines.

  • Product Marketing Management:
  • o        Developed the national new product roll-out program for a global laboratory electronics line.

    o        Consulted with the design team to include features which reflected customer requirements.

    o        Managed the sales promotion at national shows including technical panel participation.

    o        Developed the technical strategy for design wins and unique requirement specifications.

  • Marketing Education Manager:
  • o        Developed a full sales training program for a national sales force, where 40% of the class progressed the to Million Dollar sales club.

    o        Trained the sales team using the Xerox Professional Sales Course coupled with interactive video methods.

    o        Implemented sales-role scenario training methods using video feedback for re-enforcement of proper technique development.

    o        Monitored sales progress with field call contact, yielding a 60% President’s Club sales force achievement.
